Meet Dr. Casey
Dr. Casey DeVries is a board-certified chiropractor proudly serving Marion and the surrounding communities. A native of eastern Iowa, he has been helping patients move better, feel better, and live healthier since 2012. For Dr. Casey, chiropractic care isn’t just a profession — it’s a genuine calling rooted in helping people get back to doing the things they love.
Dr. Casey grew up in eastern Iowa and attended grade school in Mount Vernon. After graduating high school, he went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, where he also played collegiate football. Long before that, he was a three-sport athlete in high school, competing in football, basketball, and baseball — so movement, performance, and teamwork have always been part of his DNA. Years of sports taught him that preparation matters, precision counts, and sometimes a small adjustment can make a very big difference.
He later attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, graduating Magna Cum Laude. While at Palmer, Dr. Casey traveled to Honduras with fellow classmates to provide chiropractic care to individuals in underserved communities — an experience that deepened his appreciation for service and the power of hands-on care.
n the clinic, Dr. Casey is known for his thoughtful approach, clinical precision, and genuine care for each patient. He believes great chiropractic care starts with listening carefully, evaluating thoroughly, and creating a plan tailored to the individual — because no two patients are exactly alike. His goal is simple: help people heal well, move well, and stay well. And along the way, maybe even help them enjoy moving again — which, as many patients discover, is something you don’t fully appreciate until it hurts.
And if you ask around the office, you’ll quickly hear something else about Dr. Casey — he might just be one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. In fact, Dr. Sean Dunkle’s wife often says exactly that. He’s smart, easygoing, and the kind of person who makes patients feel comfortable the moment they walk in the door. Add in the fact that he’s an excellent adjuster, and it’s not uncommon to hear patients say after meeting him, “He’s just a great guy.”
Patients quickly discover that Dr. Casey has a calm confidence about him — the kind that comes from experience, skill, and truly caring about the people he treats. It’s why many patients walk in feeling uncertain or uncomfortable and leave feeling relieved, reassured, and already looking forward to their next visit.
Dr. Casey Family Life
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Casey lives in Solon, Iowa with his wife, Beth, and their daughter, Finley. He enjoys staying active and loves working out in his home gym to stay in shape so he can keep adjusting patients all day long. He also enjoys spending time outdoors, watching sports, and relaxing with a good movie or great music. But his favorite way to spend time is simply being with Beth and Finley.
Dr. Casey enjoys caring for patients of all ages and from all walks of life, and he is grateful to serve the Marion community alongside Dr. Sean Dunkle and the entire Care Chiropractic team. He deeply appreciates the trust patients place in him to care for their health and considers it a privilege to help people feel and function at their best.
