Growing Older Is Mandatory.
Feeling Older Every Day Doesn’t Have To Be.

Your body changes with time—but your goals still matter. You may want to walk farther, garden longer, turn your head more comfortably while driving, travel with confidence, or get down on the floor with the grandkids and still have a reasonable exit strategy.

Our focus is not on making unrealistic promises. It is on helping joints move as well as they safely can, reducing mechanical stiffness, supporting comfortable activity, and helping you keep participating in your life.

The Benefits of Chiropractic Care as You Age

Chiropractic care for older adults should be thoughtful, adaptable, and based on the individual—not the number on a birthday cake.

Move More Comfortably

Restricted or irritated joints can make ordinary movement feel harder. Individualized care may help improve mobility and reduce mechanical stiffness.

Support Independence

The real goal is not simply a better pain score. It is helping you keep doing more for yourself, for longer.

Confidence With Movement

Comfortable motion, strength, vision, sensation, and balance all matter. We evaluate what is appropriate and refer when another specialist should be involved.

Turn and Drive Easier

Neck and upper-back mobility can matter when checking mirrors, backing up, and driving comfortably.

Rest With Less Tension

When your neck, back, hips, or shoulders are less irritated, finding a comfortable sleeping position may become easier.

Stay In The Game

Golf, gardening, walking, pickleball, travel, and grandkids all require movement. We build care around the life you want to keep living.

Arthritis Doesn’t Mean You’re Broken.

Osteoarthritis and age-related degeneration are common. Cartilage, discs, joint surfaces, muscles, and connective tissues can change over time. Those changes may contribute to stiffness, reduced range of motion, and discomfort—but an X-ray showing arthritis does not automatically determine how active you can be.

Chiropractic care does not erase arthritis, regrow cartilage, or turn a 75-year-old joint into a 25-year-old joint. What it may do is improve motion in appropriate joints, reduce mechanical stiffness, ease strain in surrounding tissues, and make activity more comfortable.

Honest Goals

Move better. Feel more comfortable. Stay active. No miracle claims. No pressure. Just a careful plan built around you.

The Healthy Aging Blueprint

Movement is not the entire answer—but it is an important part of healthy aging. Chiropractic care works best as one piece of a bigger plan that may include walking, strength training, balance work, good nutrition, sleep, medical care, and staying socially connected.

1

Restore Useful Motion

Address appropriate restricted joints and movement patterns.

2

Make Activity Easier

Less stiffness can make walking, reaching, bending, and turning feel more manageable.

3

Stay Active

Regular activity supports strength, endurance, balance, and confidence.

4

Protect Independence

The more comfortably you move, the easier it is to keep participating in daily life.

Why Older Adults Feel Comfortable at Care Chiropractic

Small details matter—especially when getting around is not as effortless as it used to be.

No Steps. All Ground Level.

Our office is easy to enter without stairs or an obstacle course. Because arriving for care should not feel like qualifying for a hiking badge.

Hi-Lo Tables Come Down to You

Our adjusting tables lower to a comfortable height, helping reduce climbing, awkward transfers, and the need for table-top gymnastics.

Three Chiropractors to Choose From

See Dr. Sean Dunkle, Dr. Casey DeVries, or Dr. Brennan Gibbs. You are welcome to switch doctors anytime. No chiropractic jealousy—just one team focused on you.

An Amazing, Patient Team

We listen, explain, help with paperwork, and give you time. You will be treated like a person—not the next appointment on a conveyor belt.

Digital X-Rays When Appropriate

We have digital X-ray equipment in our office when imaging is clinically appropriate. Not everyone needs X-rays, and we will explain why they are—or are not—recommended.

Modern Options, Human Care

From gentle chiropractic techniques to SoftWave Therapy when appropriate, we pair useful technology with old-fashioned kindness and common sense.

Three Chiropractors. One Team.

Different patients connect with different doctors—and that is completely normal. Our chiropractors work together, so you can stay with one doctor or move between them without awkwardness.

No chiropractic jealousy. Sometimes a different set of hands is simply the flavor of the day.

Your Nervous System, Movement, and Balance

Your brain, spinal cord, nerves, muscles, joints, eyes, and inner ear work together to help you move and stay upright. Joint and muscle input is one part of that system. Chiropractic care may support comfortable movement and body awareness, but it is not a substitute for a full fall-risk or neurological evaluation.

When balance problems, repeated falls, new weakness, numbness, dizziness, or walking changes are present, we take them seriously and coordinate referral or medical evaluation when needed.

We Look Beyond the Sore Spot

History, mobility, strength, sensation, posture, and function all help guide safe recommendations.

We Refer When Appropriate

Good care includes knowing when a medical provider, physical therapist, neurologist, or other professional should be involved.

Safety Comes First

Techniques, positioning, and force are adapted to your health history, comfort, bone health, and examination findings.

What Your First Visit Feels Like

Clear, calm, and comfortable. No scare tactics. No mysterious treatment plan handed down from the mountain.

1. We Listen

Tell us what hurts, what has changed, and what you want to get back to.

2. We Evaluate

We assess appropriate movement, posture, joints, muscles, strength, sensation, and function.

3. Imaging If Needed

Digital X-rays are available in our office when clinically appropriate—not automatically.

4. We Explain

You will understand what we found, what we recommend, and what realistic improvement may look like.

5. We Personalize Care

Gentle, moderate, or traditional techniques are chosen for you. No one-size-fits-all adjustment.

What Can You Control? More Than You Think.

You cannot control every age-related change. You can still invest in the habits that help your body function at its best. Chiropractic care can be one useful part of that broader plan.

Keep Moving

Choose activities that fit your health and abilities.

Build Strength

Strong muscles help support joints and daily function.

Practice Balance

Balance-focused activity is especially valuable as we age.

Protect Sleep

Rest supports recovery, energy, and quality of life.

Eat Well

Nutrition supports muscle, bone, and overall health.

Stay Connected

Community, purpose, and relationships are part of healthy aging too.

Senior Chiropractic Questions

Good questions deserve straightforward answers.

It can be appropriate for many older adults, but care should be individualized. We consider health history, medications, bone health, prior surgeries, symptoms, examination findings, comfort, and personal goals before recommending treatment.
Yes. We can use lower-force instruments, drop-table methods, mobilization, modified positioning, or other approaches when appropriate. The technique should fit the patient—not the other way around.
No climbing is required on our Hi-Lo tables. The table lowers so you can get on more comfortably and then raises into position.
No. Chiropractic care does not remove arthritis, rebuild lost cartilage, or reverse age-related degeneration. It may help appropriate joints move more comfortably, reduce mechanical stiffness, and support activity.
Our care is designed around function. When pain and stiffness improve, many people find walking, turning, reaching, gardening, golf, or other activities easier. Results vary, and activity recommendations should match your health and abilities.
Chiropractic care should not be marketed as a stand-alone fall-prevention treatment. Falls are multifactorial. Strength, balance training, medication review, vision, footwear, home safety, neurological health, and medical conditions may all matter.
Not necessarily. We recommend X-rays only when your history, examination, age-related risk factors, trauma, or other findings make imaging clinically useful.
Please tell us. Osteoporosis or fracture risk may change the examination, imaging decision, positioning, and techniques used. In some situations chiropractic manipulation may not be appropriate, and we will recommend safer alternatives or referral.
Yes. Our office is ground level with no steps, and our team is happy to help you move through the office comfortably.
Absolutely. A spouse, adult child, caregiver, or trusted friend is welcome when you would like support or another set of ears.
No. You may see Dr. Sean, Dr. Casey, or Dr. Brennan and switch whenever you prefer. We are one team, and there is no chiropractic jealousy.
Care Chiropractic works with Medicare. Coverage depends on Medicare rules, medical necessity, the services provided, and your individual benefits. Our team can help explain what is covered and what may be your responsibility.

The Goal Isn’t Just to Add Years to Your Life.
It’s to Add Life to Your Years.

Whether you want to walk farther, travel more, garden longer, enjoy the grandkids, or simply move through your day with greater comfort, we would be honored to help.
