Meet Renee
Some people join a team… and some people instantly become the heartbeat of it.
Renee Kratt joined the Care Chiropractic team on January 12, 2025, and it didn’t take long for everyone to realize we had found someone truly special. In fact, Renee first caught our attention during a brief phone conversation with Jolene. Normally, we only interview candidates with prior chiropractic office experience — but something about Renee stood out right away. Jolene had a feeling she was someone worth meeting.
That feeling turned out to be exactly right.
From the moment Renee sat down for her in-person interview with Dr. Sean and Jolene, it was clear she was someone we very much wanted on our team. While Renee came to us with some medical training, she had never worked in a chiropractic office before. What she did bring, however, was something even more valuable: an incredible attitude, a willingness to learn, and a natural ability to connect with people.
Renee picked up our procedures at lightning speed and quickly became highly skilled in performing our Chiropractic SoftWave therapy. She also developed a talent for taking detailed subjective notes with patients — something that comes naturally when people feel comfortable opening up to you. And that’s exactly what happens with Renee.
Patients don’t just like Renee — they connect with her almost instantly. Many say it feels like they’ve known her for years, like they’re talking to a long-lost friend. Maybe it’s her warm personality. Maybe it’s her genuine kindness. Or maybe it’s that incredible smile of hers, which has a way of brightening the entire room. Whatever the reason, one thing is certain: it’s very hard not to like Renee. In fact, around here we sometimes joke that if you don’t like Renee… well… there might be something wrong with you.
Renee has quickly become an invaluable member of our team. She’s constantly looking for ways to help others — whether that’s patients, Dr. Sean, Dr. Casey, or her fellow team members. If something needs to be done, Renee is already halfway there figuring out how to make it happen. In many ways, she’s like the captain of our ship — helping keep the team on course, steering us around obstacles, and making sure everyone stays headed in the right direction.
Renee Family Life
Outside the office, Renee and her husband Ryan are proud to be a military family who embrace the adventure of traveling and experiencing new places together. Originally, Renee is from Arizona and Ryan is from Ohio. Their journey together has taken them across several parts of the country, allowing them to meet incredible people and build lasting friendships along the way.
Their two spunky kids, Kyle and Noah, have grown up right alongside these adventures and have shown amazing resilience living the unpredictable life of a military family. Fun fact: Kyle was born in Arizona, while Noah was born in New Hampshire when the family was living in Vermont. Along the way the family has also lived in New Jersey before eventually making their way to Iowa. Rounding out the Kratt household is their bearded dragon, DJ, who brings a little extra personality (and probably a few laughs) to the family home.
When they’re not busy with school, work, or daily life, the Kratt family loves spending time together outdoors, enjoying adventures and making memories. Kyle and Noah especially enjoy playing with friends and, after a full day of fun, relaxing together on the couch. Meeting new people, making friends, and building community has become one of the Kratt family’s specialties — which explains perfectly why Renee fits in so well at Care Chiropractic.
Because once you meet Renee, you quickly realize something: she has a gift for making people feel welcome, valued, and cared for.
And while we hope Renee and her family stay in Iowa forever, we also know that military life sometimes has other plans. Ryan’s career may one day take them to a new destination. Dr. Sean has already gone on record saying that when that day comes, he may consider chaining Renee to the front desk so she can’t leave the state. (Legal experts have advised against this plan… but the thought still crosses his mind.)
Until that day comes — hopefully many, many years from now — everyone at Care Chiropractic is simply grateful for the incredible person Renee is and the impact she has already made on our team and our patients. When that day eventually does arrive, there will undoubtedly be a lot of broken hearts around the office.
For now, though, we’re just thankful she’s here — helping make Care Chiropractic a better place every single day.
